Went in for a drink and a bite to eat. The service was so atrocious before we could try a tasty menu item, which was truly a first for me. The bad attitude was surprisingly uniform across the many staffers. It was not very busy, therefore it was hard to understand. The drinks were alright. The food menu must definitely be how this place stays afloat. So go and try, but be prepared for rudeness.
Lovely relaxing atmosphere, the friendliest of staff, reasonably priced, fast service and DELICIOUS food. What more could you want? There is something on the menu for everyonr- bring your omnivore friends and introduce them to the wonderful vegan menu. I will be back!
Would have enjoyed the great (healthy?) food, and casual alternative atmosphere, had the service lived up to the mark. Not that I expected top notch servers, but their staff is far from polite. To add to this, the service was very slow, and they refused to serve us drinks from not recognising an international driver’s license..The only positive points are for the pizza (was great) and because my friend seemed to have enjoyed his burrito. Was the food worth putting up with the attitude and doziness? Maybe not.Recommend going to Stereo instead.
I’ll be back. Service really friendly but a tad slow for some. Take friends, have a natter and indulge yourself. The menu is pretty good (the chips were fab by the way) with tons of choice. Atmos on the draughty side, quirky, and i took a little time to relax into it. Glad I did though because it’s a gem of a place.
Great food, cosiness could be improved. The food is usually creative and very good and inexpensive. The atmosphere could profit from a bit cosier table arrangement, illumination and removal of clatter. Overall still a very nice place to be and eat (even if one does not depend on vegetarian food).
Too much pepper on noodles undercooked stirfry. If you are having stirfry and like no/little pepper and like soft stirfry please ask for soft no/little pepper as the carrot was virtually raw and hard. Looks nice place though. That had been my first time. Will ask for well cooked stirfry with no pepper next time. Also some of the fizzy juice is fermented so may contain 0.4% alcohol per bottle.
Amazing food, absolutely brilliant! All food is suitable for vegetarian and vegans. I’ve been with meat eaters as well and none of them missed having meat, The foods so full of flavour and there’s so much choise there’s something for everyone. The atmosthere is truely great, friendly staff, relaxed vibe, interesting music. In the centre of Glasgow just near merchant city, this is a place you have to try! Indulge ur taste buds! I highly recoment the stir fry. For great food and atmosphere without spending much go to mono. Do it! X
