A Little Emerald Gem. This Irish themed pub sits on the corner of Merchant Square. It’s a large venue and feels a little dead on a quiet Saturday afternoon. I sat at one of the terrace tables overlooking the indoor square. This area was busy and had a nice atmosphere. The service was both friendly and quick and I had the Irish pork and leak sausages and colcannon with onions and gravy. It both looked and tasted wonderful. The plump sausages were nicely charred and the gravy was dark and rich. All the dishes were great value for this area and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back.
