A Glasgow Secret. This place is a gem. Found it by accident as they had Tempura on the menu. It now has a license and the quality of Food is as good as ever. You can alos order take home food if you widh to collect. I would recommend this place if you like good Quality food at a fair price.
4 of us went and really enjoyed the food and the service. Staff were friendly and attentive. The sushi platter we had was lovely and tasted very fresh. We all had different mains which were all yummy. Would definatley go back.
Good sushi. Great location, beautiful, snappy service and great music taste. Sampled all sorts of Japanese food, the sushi isn’t bad. Bit pricey though
Visited a couple of weeks ago. VERY average. Offhand staff, grey noodles. Won’t be back.
Average food, good service. I went into this place anticipating only average food. I mean with the word ‘express’ in the name, what should you expect?I found the food to be worth the price I paid. I can definitely imagine better sushi, although I was a visitor to Glasgow so I don’t know what is or is not available. The service was quick and I enjoyed my meal overall. I would probably look for a better sushi place before returning though.
Tiny portions and ridiculous service charge. I popped in here this week for a quick late lunch. The California Roll which was served up was pitiful and were scarcely a centimeter deep. The roll was average and the tuna sashimi was chewy and too cold.I would rather they replaced the free green tea refills with a pot on your table capable of providing 2-3 cups. Having to wave down a waiter when you want more tea was annoying.A weak dining experience was capped off with the addition of a surprise service charge, which the staff removed when I objected. There is a new Yo Sushi within 2 minutes walk, which will definitely see my wallet the next time.
Tasty.. Good value for money, great tasting food and fresh ingredients.A nice change when you’re bored of Wagamama’s or fed up forkin’ out money for nothing at YO!
