Tempo was the first place I went to try bubble tea and it was honestly such a great experience. Usually when there’s such a wide range of options to mix you feel quite pressured but the staff were so lovely and helped me choose a delicious drink! Now I’m a regular, I try to go attests once a week. The actual design of the shop is so interesting and funky and I’m forever noticing something I didn’t notice before. The place is a bit compact when the line gets big but it’s bearable. The music is up to beat and the actual drinks are amazing, no matter what you mix together. All in all its a great place and my new addiction
I would happily travel from Edinburgh just to get bubble tea from Tempo. The shop is fun and quirky with super funky dcor. Staff are laid back and friendly. With four baseline teas, ten flavour choices, an option to add milk, seven toppings on offer and three temperature settings – the possible combinations are really only limited by how adventurous you feel on the day.This is also the only place I’ve come across an ‘ice blended’ bubble tea and I’m happy to say it works surprisingly well.Don’t be intimidated if you’ve not tried bubble tea before, you can always opt not to have any toppings and just walk out with a delicious cup of tea! But I urge you to give the bubbles a go, they’re a bit of fun and you’ll never know unless you try it!
