‘Best Steaks in Scotland’. Visited the grill room at the square last Saturday evening with my partner and we both had the 8oz fillet steak which was cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding with our waiter recommending a great wine to go with our meal. Without a doubt it was the best steak I have ever had and we will both be back again very soon.

Average. I wonder what all the fuss is about! A group on us dined here at the weekend, most for the first time. I was expecting great things after reading such super reviews, however, I was rather disappointed. I had steak and although the meal was good it was fairly average, I have had better elsewhere at less cost. Service was as you would expect and we found the wine list to be excellent. The decor is slightly tacky and WAG like. Would I go back? Probably not as I think it is over-rated.

The chatuexbrion was superb as was the service but a little pricey for what is essentially a steak house. I’d say Bo’vine in the westend offers more for less money. although the staff at grill are truely impressive – also enjoied all the sports memoribillia etc. just felt 260 for 4 peeps was a bit steep and at that price u can only go for special occassions and I’m not sure the resturaunt is fancy enough to merit only going on a special occassion.

Steaks were very good, succulent, with a lovely char grilled flavour. I would highly recommend the fillet. On the down side, I had mussels to start, and they smelled awful, and 3 of the 6 I tried tasted awful too. I send them back, but we were still charged for them, until we took issue with the manager. Thus I found disappointing, and frankly odd! Wouln’t rush back!!

Awesome !!!. Steaks are to die for, melt in your mouth stuff. Atmosphere is best in the city and the views are second to none. The service is so special, the warm bread at the start is a fantastic touch adn your not even charged for it !!! When i was there Michelle Mone, Alan McGregor and Marc Crossas were all dining – great venue for people spotting. Definately the best steak house in the country
