Have always enjoyed the brunch here and the laid back atmosphere. Love the old bus seats! Owner’s a great guy and always attentive. Favourite eat of mine is the full English breakfast.

My first trip back to this cafe – it was a favourite when I lived in Glasgow, so I went with high hopes. The cafe is much more minimalist than it used to be, couldn’t see the board games that I used to enjoy playing or any of the retro tea and coffee sets. Service was ok. Seeing as I was the only person in there it was slower than it should have been, probably as the chef was having a very loud, very angry conversation on the phone for pretty much the whole time I was there. When the omlette did arrive it was exceptional. I had opted for cheese and bacon, it was one of the largest and most perfect omlettes I’ve seen. The chef may be angry, but he can sure cook an omlette.

Cath. Just had dinner at trans Europe caf. It was really lovely. The food was delicious. There were five of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed everything. My hake was smashing. We shared the cheesecake, sticky toffee pudding and affogado and all were scrumptious. Ryan and Paul were our chef and waiter. Do try it for a special but not too expensive night out.

I Could Eat Here Every Day. The sandwiches in this place which I confess is the only thing I’ve tried are truly amazing. Superb quality bread and homemade toppings make it a wonderful lunch. The Copenhagen sandwich is probably my favourite. Staff are friendly and service is quicker than average.
