Fabulous family run restaurant with proper Italian grub. The restaurant is always busy – a firm favourite with the locals. The scallop and black pudding starter is delicious and served with pesto. Specials board always has some excellent options on there to choose from if the wide variety of pizza, pasta or fish doesn’t float yer boat. Love love love.

This is the Italian restaurant which you would be mad to miss when dining out in Edinburgh. It is wonderfully welcoming, as comfortable as eating in a friend’s house, but where the food and wine is of excellent quality. Smoked haddock fishcakes light enough to melt in the mouth and spaghetti so good you will remember the taste for days to come. The staff here are old hands at the food business, but their enthusiasm and enjoyment of it only make you want to go back again – and soon.
