I’ve used this takeaway restaurant a few times. This is mostly because it’s very reasonably priced and just round the corner.Until Thursday evening I’d thought it was alright. Not great, but alright. Thursday, however, saw the delivery of a meal that was quite simply unacceptable.As I took the dishes out of the bag there was grease overflowing from some of the lids – not a great start!The brinzal bhuna was pretty tasteless and positively swimming in grease andI wouldn’t have been at all surprised to learn that the onion pakora had been cooked the previous day – dry, shrivelled and tough.The lamb rogan josh and chapati were quite good, but I have to confess the meal as a whole was so bad that we’d completely lost our appetites and about 75% of it went in the bin.I can only assume that the plummet in the level of cuisine was owing to it being a Thursday night – no excuse!
