  So I was at this sea food restaurant with friends… the menu is simple and the food is good …. thay serve absolutely the freshest seafood also the prices are very reasonable….if u like fiSh don’t miss out.

  Best food in town! From the service to the variety of choices, unbelievable quality! Can’t be beat… Fresh fish, long to go lines, black berries and Basel ice cubes gin drinks while you wait, they have everything covered.

  Ask anyone in town which is the best place to have a fish and chips? Everyone will tell you to visit tailends fish bar. A lot of memories and a lot of food. Thanks tailends.

  Fantastic. Simply the best chipper in town, I’ve only been to the takeaway but I’ve heard excellent things about the sit in part aswell.

  If you don’t value your time, try it!. I managed to get some food at the third time of asking. Twice I gave up waiting after 10 minutes of getting nowhere. I think it’s a case of sheep following sheep in here. When I did manage to buy some fish & chips after a 15 minute wait (and it wasn’t busy!) it was good, but not exceptional. I know they like to cook to order, but there’s really no need when people are queued out the door!! How long does it take to fry a fish anyway? Most chippies cook fresh and they get you out in 5 minutes. The same queue building and delaying con goes on at the Anstruther Fish Bar. Both trap you in with steel barriers so you can’t escape! Not cheap either. Disappointing.
