Brilliant coffee, great food. This place is a little haven! Perfect to slip into for some of Edinburgh’s best coffee (Artisan Roast), or stay longer and try some of their food. Amazing sandwiches, salads, and the potato and haggis soup was something to remember.Do give it a go, you won’t regret it.
Great coffee great craic. Couldnt live without Stags double shot flat white. Best coffee in Edinburgh without a shadow…and I’m a fussy besom. For pure artistry of coffee making its a must. Owners wit is ascerbic but ….oh god, his florentines are sweet. I love the place…GO TRY!

An Oasis of Calm…. My Mother and I were here during the Fringe and I have to say the cafe at the Dovecott is an oasis of calm – if only I had discovered it and the lovely staff 3 weeks earlier… I will return. Oh the food is fantastic too! 🙂
