We are from Hong Kong and this is one of the best restaurants we had in Edinburgh! The food is really nice! We had the haggis, sausages and mash and Balmoral chicken. The sausages were amazing especially the lamb and curry one.Service was great too, very welcoming! Must try !
Came here after a windy cold day climbing Arthurs Seat. Good vibes, lovely service. Ordered the fish pie with mash, and the Mac and cheese. Food was lovely, flavourful and warm. Great cheese went into the Mac and cheese, it was delightfully umami and rich. Great renditions of these classics. Side of chips was crispy, warm and cooked nicely. Veg was bog standard boiled peas and mini carrots, nothing special. A bit pricey for what you get considering Ting Thai is around the corner.
Wonderful friendly place. Found it by accident during our first trip to Scotland and enjoyed it so much we had to return during our second trip. The food was still well cooked and plentiful and the service was excellent. If we have a third trip well be back again.
