Super healthy & vegan cafe offering a great selection. Small space, but managed to get a seat for a smoothie bowl for breakfast in The Grassmarket. Delicious & beautiful!

If you are looking for something super healthy to eat or into organic and vegan food, then this is a great wee cafe to head for. Situated in the Grassmarket just underneath Dancebase, it’s fridges are teaming with salads, quinoa, vegetable bowls, smoothies, health shots, juices etc.The space is small with 3 tables that can seat up to 10 people but its popular with lunch time take-aways.I initially just went in for a coffee which is made with milk alternatives – almond milk, soya or coconut; but overheard that they had a peanut curry available for lunch. I’d already made my mind up at the mention of peanuts!I ordered the peanut vegetable curry with brown rice. It was good, filling, hearty and healthy. The carrots and the chickpeas bulked out the curry and the rice provided the rich nutty flavour. Prefect for a rainy dreig day in Edinburgh. It’s a little pricey but the food is good. tartanspoon.co.uk

This recent open restaurant/caf in Edinburgh is really amazing! Nice options both vegan and organic which is something I really like even I don’t follow a restrict vegan diet. It is a bit expensive and it does not have a huge variety to choose from for lunch. Places to seat are not that many as well, but the place is so welcoming and the concept so refreshing, the staff so nice, that I had to give a great rate.
