We love this bar and come every time were in Edinburgh.We went in few times for wine then went back to have the gin flight. Bit disappointed that two of the gins didnt come with the accompanying garnishes they should have.The toilets however need some attention. The bar itself is immaculate but the smell approaching the toilets is unpleasant and the toilets themselves were not that clean. My partner said the mens was the same and a bag on one of the urinals was there last year. If the toilets were the same standard as the bar it would be 5 star. You dont expect toilets like that in such a nice place.But even though the toilets needs TLC we do love the place and the staff are always fabulous and we will be back.
…The Inn On The Mile is in a near perfect location, slap bang in the middle of the Royal Mile and only a brisk fifteen minute walk to Princes Street, Edinburghs primary shopping area.Our Friday nights meal was booked back at the hotel. The bar and dining area had taken on a completely different feel. Candles twinkled on the tables and the before mentioned whiskey display radiated an amber glow into the room. The bar was busy but not cramped and service was swift.
