Came in while it was raining (no way) very warm. First time in Edinburgh and we were welcomed with a smile and very friendly super good food. All four of us were very impressed with our food. Good portions, was warm, well presented and delicious 5
Party place, great for sports events!Everything seems to happen at The Three Sisters. Great place for partying and to watch sports events. Pretty crowded for euro2006 matches. Beer everywhere and some nice and cheap wood fired pizzas. Slow service though.
Popular for its continually changing pub quiz themes. I went for a Pokemon pub quiz and the table booking was free. It was lively though a bit slow for my tastes. They have a student discount and the tap Cider was good. They served free Mac and Cheese halfway through the pub quiz but it wasn’t anything to write home about. Me and my friends had a good time though, I’d go again if they have a pub quiz theme that interests me.
My boyfriend somehow developed his interest in sports. So I took him here for a rugby match. We ordered some fast food. As our food arrived, we indulged in the food and almost forgot the rugby match. It was good
I and my brother came at this restaurant to watch a boxing match on big screen. But it was not what we expected; the screen was ultra-big, bigger than our careers. We ordered pasta and beer. It was exceptionally good.
This is a place I would liked to go in a crowded day, I think a lot of people being in certain places gives you the best view of the environment that a place can create! Also, because when I imagine pubs, specially scottish pubs, I imagined it like that, crowded as hell and full of drunk people! I thought maybe I went there in a time and season where there is not so much people going for the night of Edinburgh. But no problem at all, i managed to see one of the most huge pubs I’ve ever been too and managed to see a Champions League game! The Three Sisters is definitely a different place to go! derelictbenph.wordpress.com
This is one of the places you will find always crowded in Cowgate. The good thing about the place is the open space, love the energy of the people before and after they get drunk! The indoors are nice, but they get a pungent smell with lot of spilling of beer and otherwise. The crowd comprises of university students and does create a great lively feel as the music is loud. I love the bus theme they had once, where we could go inside the double-decker and do much more fun! Cheers to The Three Sisters!
