A simple restaurant that is as much about take-out as it is dining in, but it is clean and the service was good. The food was better than average. The dumplings and hot and sour soup were both good, although the latter could use a bit more zing. The sweet and sour chicken had a great homemade sauce. All of that added up to about 12. A great bargain.
After a long and tiring walk we chose to have our dinner here in Yocoko. We had a hard time choosing what to order, when the server approached us to ask for our order, we’re a bit rattled since we didn’t know what to get. Good thing that the server is a filipino so it was a big help for us. We ordered a japanese set meal, duck noodles and fried prawns. The service was very fast and all of the food that we ordered taste great. This is a must try whenever you visit Edinburgh.
