The Telford Tea Room is run from our family home, Tigh Cilmartin in Staffin, located 15 miles north of Portree on the Trotternish Peninsula. Tigh Cilmartin is a Grade B Listed Building and former Manse, designed by Thomas Telford and built in 1829. Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 11.00am to 2.30pm, however as we are currently running the Tea Room to fit around family life, we are not open all year round. Seating is limited, so while booking is not required, we do recommend contacting us prior to your visit and we will be happy to reserve a table for you. Homemade Soup, Sandwiches and Cakes are available, as well as Cream Tea and traditional Full Afternoon Tea.
