Enjoyable standard Italian fare. Lasagne was tasty, chunky garlic bread and yummy pizza. All very filling and comfiort food. Bit pricey but not by much. We’d go back.
Never again. I had breakfast with my friend, the resturant was rather quiet but we still waited 10 minutes for the waiter to take our order as the staff were hanging around chatting. When the food arrived the two full breakfasts we ordered were utterly disgusting! everything was deep fried including the mushrooms and bacon, the toast had been sitting under a hot lamp which resulted in it being brick hard. The waiter asked if everything was alright and when I pointed out that I was’nt impressed he replied with ‘What do you want me to do about it?’….he did nothing! not even a free coffee. I paid the 22.00 bill and vowed never to return again. Food and service – rubbish don’t chance it!
Expensive but compared to other places on the southside, worth it. Large portions, quote friendly and helpful staff. We are usually in late when it is quieter. Great quality steak and adorable sauces however the price will probably make you think twice. 10 x better than the granary but almost twice the price.
Went here a few weeks ago for a late lunch with 2 friends. All the food was excellent. I had the bolognese alla Tagiatelle, my friends had the calzone and spicy penne with chicken. We all enjoyed our food (and each others) and were impressed by the genuine Italian products available to buy! Would definitely come again – best bolognese I’ve ever had!
GOOD FOOD. Visited on 7-4-11. a tradtionally busy place with good food and decent service. we had fabby food although for a very italian resteraunt the coffee was very poor. please invest or train your staff better…
First time at Bella Napoli and loved it to bits. Expensive but great.
