OK lunch.. Pakora and chicken chaat starters were good but they had no samosas! Curries were also nice but a bit too much methi in the jaipuri, making it slightly bitter. Naan bread was light and delicious. Small portions but not too bad.
Not too bad…. I have ordered take away meals here on a handfull of occasions and my impressions are that it’s ok, the lamb karahi was my last dish there and it was nice, not exactly the stuff of legend like the Ashoka (or the like) but not too bad, certainly better than what you’d get in the nearby kebab shops for curry…but that’s about it really…if you do choose this place, expect to wait a couple of days for takeaway and also expect them to give you normal nan bread instead of the (more expensive) garlic nan that you actually ordered…they did this 3 times to me of recent…so i havent gone back, so the cost difference between a garlic and normal nan is worth losing custom for?? Seems to be ok for them so bear that in mind…check your nan…
