The Greenmantle Pub un classico pub scozzese dove poter gustare una buona birra oppure gustare degli ottimi hamburger. Come nel puro stile scozzese, il pub si presenta molto buio e poco luminoso, caratterizzato dal colore verde. All’interno sono presenti diversi tavolini, alti e bassi, per poter bere o mangiare, a seconda dei propri bisogni, il tutto accompagnato dalle classiche televisioni che trasmettono gli eventi sportivi. Il cibo non male, ma la lentezza del servizio sicuramente una pecca. La posizione strategica, a met strada tra le hill ed il Royal Mile, ne fanno una buona meta per un ristoro, ma se i vostri tempi sono tirati, non sicuramente la prima soluzione da adottare.
It’s a nice and cosy pub towards the end of Nicolson street. I was there with a friend of mine to just talk and enjoy some beer. The place was just what we expected it to be. We had a couple of beers and ordered a sharing platter, which was decent enough to accompany our drinks. One important note would be to avoid the seat next to the washroom, as it’s often used and might annoy you.
