Brunch was very enjoyable here. Simple full breakfasts and eggs Benedict. The hollandaise on the eggs was not as tasty as it looked and my eggs were hard but overall I couldn’t complain as the service was very good.
Had a lovely brunch with my mother here today! The food was lovely I could have ate another whole portion of the eggs benedict! The fruit scone was warmed and delicious. Definitely go back!
I have been wanting to come here for ages, but have only just had the chance. It is just up the road from my house, so was great to just walk up for brunch. The brunch menu is great, and runs till half 2 during the week and 3 at the weekends, which is great! I was really busy, and the staff were helpful and attentive the whole time. I had the American style pancakes with fruit and my mum had the eggs Benedict which looked lovely. We both really enjoyed our food and will definitely be back! fashionpolaroids.co.uk
Had a last minute dinner here with my mother. This is a lovely neighbourhood bistro. Our mains of roast lamb rump and sea bass were chosen from the daily specials. They focus on classic flavours and British grub over style and invention. Salted caramel cheesecake on recommendation from the waitress was standout dish of the meal. Not spectacular enough for a vey special occasion but perfect for a casual mid week treat.
I went to Heller’s after reading about Their pancakes and i’ve to Say that i’m not so impressed. The place is nice and the stuff kind But a bit slow. I thought that there would have been more choice But just two options speaking about pancakes, they were good But My friend who had the full breakfast Well it was a little poor. Anyway the food for Lunch looked amazing themeneghingirl.blogspot.com
Heller’s Kitchen, whenever I am asked to name my favourite restaurant in Edinburgh, I always fail to say those two words despite knowing how fantastic the place is.The venue itself has a fantastic look to it without invading too much into your vision during your meal, but enough for you to notice it. The menu itself has a great look to it and makes decision making even harder when dining. To add in another factor, there is the specials board which changes daily. The best of which I had was a Chorizo, Calamari and Pepper Pizza, something which I still find myself talking about. What is it that makes me forget to mention it? Probably it’s location, it’s stuck in the peripheral area between Newington and the Grange, making it harder to remember than more prominently placed restaurants. The place though is easily accessible, with major bus routes running to it and plentiful on street parking is also available.Service, decor, food and drinks all make this a fantastic place in Edinburgh to eat. It’s perfect for all types of meet-ups; business, dates, family events, anniversaries, catch-ups and anything else you can possibly think of.
Great spot for weekend brunch!. I came to Hellers on the reccomendation of my friend who works across the road. I sat in for brunch and it was a great atmosphere to be in. The wait staff were super friendly and my eggs benedict were probably one of the best i’ve had. They’ve got great fresh OJ and were really accommodating for kids.
