It is a great place to hangout with a small group of friends. It can be very busy in the eveings and during summer. Ideal location as its close to town. They do good coffee as well as sandwiches. Soups are great too.

The halloumi, avocado, tomato and spinach sandwich is really not worth the money you are paying. On one hand it’s way too dry and the spinach leaves fall out of the sandwich practically every time you touch it, and on the other hand, I has too much butter. I wouldn’t recommend it at all. As for the place itself, it is nice and friendly.

Great experience as always! Not a big fan of the coffee but the food has never ever disappointed and the location is lovely. Highly recommend the scrambled eggs on toast

We went for brunch and it was very yummy. I had the fritters breakfast, hubby had the full breakfast. Well I loved mine! The combination of everything was perfect. The poached egg, the feta, the avocado and then the fritter was just amazing!!! Go for breakfast it’s worth it!!

Lovely (and lively) wee cafe for coffee and delicious scones! But noisy at times but a fun place to people watch and read papers and watch the world go by….. (did I mention amazing scones? )

I live near this coffee and there are always so many people that I decided to try it! I came for a brunch which was delicious, I got the normal full breakfast but they have many options for everyone, the juices are amazing and the price is average. You can also sit outside which is a bonus on those few sunny days in the burgh themeneghingirl.blogspot.com

Best coffee I’ve had in a while!. I have been living in Edinburgh for 3 weeks now and am on the constant search for the best coffee in town. I just found my favourite so far! And the cheapest by a pound! Very happy, will be back.
