  Oh dearGuisuipie isn’t at the helm any more and our last visit will be our last. Used to be a wonderful favourite.Went with the daughter for what was once a quick and cheap delight – two very Italian Carbonarra. This time got two very mediocre ‘british’ carbonarra and nothing redeeming.Shame

  Good food, but not worth visiting. I was excited to try Positano after reading so many favorable reviews. However, the restaurant is small and loud, and there was only one waiter for upwards of 35 people so service was slow. The food was pretty good, but we felt that it was not worth the price we paid for it. For instance, garlic bread is 2.50 and we got three discs that were smaller than the size of my palm. With so many other good Italian restaurants in Edinburgh, it is not worth trying Positano.

  Genuine friendly owner. Looking forward to going back tonight. Great place to take the kids. They can eat well without the offputting pretentious stuffiness that comes with some good food.

  You’re welcomed with open arms by the friendly staff and owner to this very traditional, and genuine family run Italian resturant. We had some delicious pizzas followed by home made tiramisu and can’t wait to go back soon!
