At long last we have found a decent Chinese take-away! Hoorah! I always have the same dishes from a Chinese – Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls with plain rice and spring rolls. My partner mixes it up and this time ordered the Golden Crispy Hot King Prawn and the Ping On Special Chow Mein. The Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls actually had fresh chicken inside with a good batter. The sauce was a brilliant orangey red – just about right. Spring rolls were crispy and well filled. Noodles soft and cooked well (not shop bought packet noodles as per some Chinese take-aways).Complimentary prawn crackers rounded off a really good Chinese take-out and so glad that we gave this one a go. Recommended and it will become our monthly take-away spot of choice tartanspoon.co.uk

Went for the business lunch yesterday which you would think is an absolute steal. 7.40 for 3 courses, and the list of choices is HUGE! Went for the curry triangles, chicken Kung po, and pineapple fritter. The triangles were OK, should have gone for the chicken wings as they look far better! Kung po was a real let down. Had peanuts instead of cashews, the sauce was pretty bland aswell. Had far better from take aways. The fritter had far too much syrup on it. Won’t be in a rush to go back.

This is decent, solid Chinese food. Nothing fancy, nothing to get too excited about, but a place we wouldn’t mind eating at again. The food was tasty enough. The decor and drinks selection at the restaurant are nothing special, so I think we’re more likely to get this as take-out next time around. zurika.com

Brill!. I’ve been here a few times, once for a xmas night out, and once pissed with my mate. I tell you the food on both occasions was faultless. The waiting staff were nice to – especially one guy, funny wee dude lol he cracked me up. Anyway apart from the decor, which is really out of date and could do with an update, it was class. Good value too.

Fantastic Chinese in Stockbridge. Sit in or take away, both excellent. The crispy seaweed and salt and pepper squid are my faves! Freindly staff, nice atmosphere, a great meal, what more do you need. Licensed for drink as well!

Without doubt one of the top five Chinese restaurants in Edinburgh.
