Lack of gusto. Used to like this place but seems to be on a downward spiral. Ive been going to Gusto since it opened and the stored up good experiences had stopped me writing about a previous Sunday visit where the two of us had been prevented from taking a table for 4 despite lots of empty tables. We went to Tapa instead. Last Sunday I ordered the piece of the week Roast pork, apple sauce and stuffing on a ciabatta. It arrived on a rather over baked looking baguette, with the contents perched precariously on top. I queried the change only to be told they had no ciabattas. I said a ciabatta would have been easier to pick up, only to be asked what do you want me to do about it by the waitress. Properly put in my place I ordered the Rosemary ham and cheddar sandwich which littlebhoona had ordered. I was then presented with the shoddiest looking sandwich ever to be put down in front of me. Plus the coleslaw seemed unseasoned with anaemic tasting mayo. To sum up, the customer service is poor and the reaction of the kitchen to something getting sent back, which was their own fault, was revealing. I expect better from Gusto, and not being the cheapest, they should be doing better.
