Stopped in for dessert last night after dinner somewhere else. Wasn’t expecting much but the cakes looked good so we decided to give it a try. Had the mocha walnut cake. Probably one of the best cakes I’ve ever eaten. It was moist, not too sweet and clearly made with quality ingredients. Prices were so reasonable too. I also had a delicious hot chocolate and my husband had a coffee americana. Service was friendly to boot.

A great shop with a wonderful welcoming atmosphere. The food at the Babelicious Cafe is fresh, tasty and very good value. The Cakes are AMAZING! I personally tasted a few: Malteeser; Mapple Sirup and Bacon; Strawberries Yogurt and poppy seeds; Chocolate… yet to find one that was not scrumptious! The kids can paint little figures, play some games and have a ball, Daddy has a Coffee and a Cake… win-win! 😀

Proper coffee, nice cakes. A good place to hangout with a mate, and of course there’s a wargames shop/venue attached, so it ticks several boxes. If you are a parent with young Warhammer kids, then this is a huge improvement on Games Workshop on the high street. Coffee and… drum roll… a toilet. You can install yourself with a book, drink coffee, and let your young gamers do their thing.
