I’m more a regular in the rat pack as it is handy after my work, but found this lovely bar/restaurant while on a birthday night out,there was a few of us & we were welcomed upstairs, bar staff were attentive & friendly, Cocktails are well made (recommend the bubblegum), Reasonably priced drinks all round considering the dcor, you would think it would be more expensive & I remember thinking I wish we had eaten here as food looked great,Well I’m going back tonight (15/4) with my partner to try the food, though she doesn’t know it yet, (a wee surprise after her long week at work) :),I have been there a few times since first going but for some reason or other just not eaten there yet & looking forward to it,Music has always been good & entertaining as well, great location lovely surroundings & a great place to clill out through the week or weekend for that matter,I know this review may sound to good to be true but have found no reason to complain thus far :)hope you find this helpful & you try this place out at some point for yourselves,
Tucked away by the canal, Badabing is a gem. Lovely decoration, great and filling food and very good cocktails. Its quirky decoration makes it a really perfect spot for dinner any day of the week… And also great for drinks after work. Three of us decided to go here for a midweek catchup, and certainly weren’t disappointed. From sunday to thursday they offer a selection of drinks for 2.50 each, including prosecco. Ten glasses later (sorrynotsorry), we were very happy with our bill of 25.We didn’t order food, but the pizzas being served near us looked great. The 14.95 sharing ribs and cocktail pitcher was also very tempting.I love that they have live music here. I forsee this becoming my new local! twentysomethinglifeandstyle.com
My friend had been here with a group and thoroughly enjoyed the experience so invited me to go for dinner as a birthday treat. We were greeted at the door and shown to a table where not only one but two members of staff came to welcome us asking if we wanted drinks first or have them with our meal. Menues were promptly handed to us. We opted for the Mocktails as my pal was driving and I am on medication. They were delicious. We chose a mixture from starters and bar snacks. My God the sticky ribs were the nicest I have ever tasted absolutely delicious. We had meatballs in a fabulous sauce. Sausage in a light flavoursome batter and slices of cheese pizza. The service was first class. We were treated to live music from a guy playing the piano and singing. (Bit too Jazzy for me ) but not that intrusive. I will be raving to the members of my club so we can make it one of the meeting places for our days out. Thank you to the staff and chefs for a memorable meal.
Badabing is quite hidden by the canal but situated in such a lovely location. If it’s a nice weather go in and sit outside on their balcony on second floor. The view from there is amazing! They’re doing various offers for example two main courses and a pitcher of beer or cocktail for 14. They’re doing that now on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I tried their lasagne which was huge and very tasty and their chicken burger with blue cheese. The burger was good but the lasagne was awesome! Get it if you’re really hungry though. There is live music here every day so if you’re looking for a casual place to hang out with friends, have some food and drinks I would definitely recommend trying Badabing. It’s a really good addition to the area!
