I had stayed at hostel last year and I had some great food at the cafe. The cafe is an extremely comfortable place to eat at. It’s spacious so you’re not bumping elbows with the patrons at the next table. I had my breakfast there everyday during my stay and I absolutely was hooked onto one single dish, their KickAss Breakfast. The haggis they served was delicious! The meat was minced to perfection. They also served beans and toast but I’m not a big fan of healthy things so I usually would let go of that. The bacon was very yummy! It’s slightly on the oily side so I ended up dabbing it with a tissue before I ate it. The egg and sausage were just fine. However, I’d strongly recommend that you would probably need two people to finish the entire breakfast as they serve a pretty substantial quantity. Their cappuccino was a great cure for the hangovers I suffered from every morning. It’s pretty customisable too! It’s a great place to sit and read in the mornings and catch up with people over drinks later into the evening.
