We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea. The staff was very accomodating of our children and was able to seat us much earlier than our reservation. The food was great, and we had plenty of extra treats on our tray to share.
Located within the Marine Hotel, Troon a pleasant atmosphere with in the Arran Bar aptly named because the hotel itself faces the island of Arran, tea was piping hot which to us is important with the usual offerings that you get when ordering afternoon tea.

Beautiful building , interior was just as beautiful , friendly staff and wonderful afternoon tea, couldn’t fault it .
Lovely gnarly scones. Bruschetta style savouries ; egg mayonnaise, smoked salmon and cucumber and ham with cream cheese .4 small cakes each .Strong coffee in individual large china pot. Perfect.
My partner had afternoon tea there today and well we really enjoyed it , scones were amazing .will definately be back .
Overpiced, £20 for one roast beef and one cheese and tomato sandwiche, tea and Americano coffee. Service slow and apathetic.
