In ayr we ordered pensioners meals (salad) one with ham one with breast chicken when it arrived without chips we were told that chips was not included but if we wanted some we could get a bowl, my friend was also given a leg of chicken and would not have ordered if she had been told this in advance, we normally visit once a month but are having second thoughts. i told the young girl to p.ass my message on to the chef ou need to change your menu accordingly
The swan coffee shop. It was absolutely first class- the service was great good value and the food to die for. two courses for #5.45. everything was home made and really well presented. The staff were lovely – we did lunch but it was more like dinner – don’t miss it!!!!!!
The Swan Restaurant Troon. If you want real value for money the Swan Restaurant in Troon is the place for you. A word of warning though, it’s not for the those who only pick at their food.At the Swan the emphasis is on freshness and quality with portions that even a Jewish mother would consider excessive. The service is brisk and professional and they really care that you enjoy your meal.A word of caution, don’t just drop in on spec and expect to get a table. Be sensible and book ahead so that you won’t be disappointed.
