Excellent croissants and pastries from this little place. Their baked bread is also lovely. I have no experience eating at the restaurant itself, but I am very happy with their baked goods.
We dive in for fresh bread and croissants and pastries, always greeted with a smile and the pastries and bread are fantastic. They only take cash which can be annoying, and I have not had a sit down meal there.
Shocking service and poor food. We went there last night after booking with 5pm and had said we would need prompt service as going to see Bon Jovi. Was a complete joke! one and a half hours later my husband had only been served his cold soup and myself a badly cooked mushroom with cheese creation. We had told the waiter that we were going to a concert but eventually had to enquire where our main courses were.We had ordered beef stew and been told it was able to be served fairly quickly, this is not my version of quick. This is the only time we have ever been out and not left a tip. There are far better french restaurants in edinburgh for example Cafe Marlayne which has superb food and service, don’t bother with this one.
