This French Patisserie has a fantastic selection of cakes. Located in the west end it is very close from Princes Street. Would also recommend for a light lunch or breakfast!
Went there this afternoon. We were asked to wait to be seated. After 5 mins of hanging there and following up for our table, The girls said they had no tables avai. Well we cud see 2 tables with a reserved tag and another 3 vacant and no one waiting before us! We left politely but disappointed and totally irritated! So a huge thumbs down and I was very determined to write this review !
Fantastic food and the staff was really helpful in helping choosing first our brunch and then our dessert to take home!! Lovely place will defo be back!!
A lovely little French patisserie in the west end. They have lots of delicious treats and always a warm welcome! On this occasion we were getting Galette des Rois which is a French tradition on the 12th night. It was delicious and worth getting!
Patesserie Maxime is a tiny bit of France in the heart of the city. I’ve been here a couple of times and have had their macarons, pastries and teas. They also do catering events and more recently were at the French institute where we sampled more of their macarons, crepes and croissants. And their fabulous coffee. I really like the ambience of Patesserie Maxime – they play French music and the staff are very friendly. Their macarons are amazing and come in delightful flavours. They also stock Galette De Rois ( a traditional French cake for the feast of Epiphany) which is super. So close to Princess Street but you might as well be in a Parisian suburb – definitely worth checking out! quirkylifestyle.com
Lovely French caf with good selections of cakes. I recommend anyone visit here to try their Mulled Wine Macaron, delish! Although I do think they should have more selection of more unique macarons.
I like this cafe especially for their cakes. I stopped by couple of times to get a selection of different ones to bring to my friend’s place. We all loved them! I had a coffee as well which was lovely. Don’t just look at their window, go in and buy that cake!
