About

We are a sustainable, family run, bustling coffee shop in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. Offering freshly cooked, nourishing artisanal food that is palm oil free and free range. We even cater for our canine customers, with our dog loyalty cards. Husband and wife owners Jacha, a renowned artist and conservationist, and Gwyn who has been the station's caretaker for over 40 years are passionate about delivering traditionally warm Welsh hospitality whilst also inspiring and educating visitors about global conservation issues. We now have a small kiosk next door to the coffee shop that serves hot and cold drinks and a selection of delicious cakes, which is open during the season to serve those people not wanting meals.

Really nice cafe, lovely decor and a nice view by the window of the little train. The food was very nice and service fast. There was a lovely waitress named Tracey who was so friendly, an asset to the cafe.

Highly recommended. Staff welcoming and very friendly. Great service and prices good. Wonderful choice of speciality teas available. If its not too busy enjoy a table overlooking the railway and you might see a train chug by. Will be back soon

Ordered the mushrooms on toast melt. Won’t be doing that again. The mushroom weren’t fried, there were those boiled slimy, disgusting tasting mushrooms and to top it off they tasted like someone had emptied the whole bottle of white pepper onto them. Very disappointed.

My husband and I come here fairly often. Breakfast is amazing and as a tea drinker there is an amazing amount of choice. The whole ethos of this place is to not damage he earth so no palm oil and plenty of gluten free options.
