  Visited this place duches of delhi in cardiff wales, had great time there i visit this place with my friends and had fun their the ambience of this place is looks luxurious and amazing tried murga tikka masala the tikka was marinated properly and rotis were soft and fluffy

  Had one of the worst experience in an Indian restaurant called ‘ Duchess of Delhi’ ever when it comes to takeaway. We ordered 30 minutes prior to arriving when Ovendar (the manager onboard- beard, brown skin with a belly) requested us to come within 15-20 minutes. Post our arrival, we were made to sit for another 15 minutes stating that the dishes are made on an order basis (only to overhear him repeat the order to his junior). We also informed him that we had a bus to catch and instead of prioritising (over another takeaway) he stated that there are plenty buses and if we didn’t get one LATER, a taxi would be offered. His sense of talking to a woman is absolutely disrespectful and I guess he lost his manners at some place. He further argues over while we questioned over the phone as to what is included in the dish and the portions ( I believe as a customer it is our right to do so). He blames that our dishes took time because be laughed over the phone (Really)I did tell him to watch the way he speaks, but he raises his voice post that.. Such service is absolutely unacceptable and action against People like this should be taken. It’s a hospitality service industry and I working in one, politeness is a must. I truly do not recommend it. Also, after tasting the food, it’s not worth it. The Hyd biryani we ordered. It’s just rice and Gravy and we paid 14

  Awesome Food. I was craving some Indian food last night and happened to find the Duchess of Delhi. The food there was fantastic, I had the a small dinner of Mugha Tikka Massala and Naan. The Tikka had great spice and some creaminess to it and the naan was a perfect compliment. I would highly recommend the restaurant wand will be back when I’m visiting Cardiff.
