I haven’t had such a lovely lunch since ages.Ambient: Very nice & romantic with a dimmed lights and candles everywhere, and the wooden beams on the roof are really nice.Workers: Very nice and polite.Food taste: Amazing, Lamb skewers is phenomenal and a must if you are around, the salad and fries are also included with meal.Portion: Very big and I left some of the fries.Price: A little pricey.

Visited for dinner, this was the third time i’d been here, had the skewers. Absolutely delicious meat, and the chips and salad were full of flavour as well. Had desert as well which was excellent. Will come back! Hats of to the polite and accommodating staff. The Restaurant itself is very quirky and cosy, bit cramped when its busy.
Had recently visited The Meating Place for a business meeting over food, we had chosen the mixed grill, reasonable price for exactly what comes with this colossal meal. chicken or lamb chargrilled skewer, 22oz steak, and a full rack rib & plenty of sides, food cooked to perfection, customer service was quick & efficient, staff were really helpful with choice of food & drinks, I will be returning to this perfect little restaurant in the near future. Thank you
This restaurant knows their meats. From beef to lamb and everything in between – it has yet to disappoint me. I’ve had some of the most succulent Welsh Lamb here with gorgeous potato mash and mint sauce. Their skewers hang from the ceiling, which not only looks cool but also makes it efficient to tear of a piece of meat.The staff is friendly and gives good advice on wine pairings. The atmosphere is a little dark, but it works really well with the style of the restaurant. Make sure to reserve a table over the weekends, it’s likely to be completely full!
Generally good, a bit pricey for what it was, the service was very good but the only thing that let them down was a medium rare steak came cooked medium to well done
