Good place. More of a restaurant with a pub than pub food. Not expensive but not a cheap meal. Staff friendly. Remote. Not near the town centre and still a short ride from the quay hotel. Nice place
The Castle View is a lovely warm pub with a good variety of food on the menu. The view is,, as it suggests, o the castle. The Staff are great and the food delicious and good value for money, would recommend.

Five of us ate here for Mum’s birthday, very good food, a bit on the pricey side but we all enjoyed our meals. Staff very friendly and amenable, overall a pleasant experience.
Castle club sandwich: Chicken, Crispy bacon, gem lettuce, tomato, mayo, french fries, coleslaw, salad = £8.45Just the chicken and the salad = £8.45What a rip off.Won’t be going there again
