Castle Cottage is the only restaurant at the top of the steepest street in the world!!. Guinness World Records award 6th June 2019 We have steadily built up a reputation for good food, both locally and with visitors to the area. We source and use as much local / Welsh produce as possible and strive to create a dining experience that combines top quality local food and service with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We offer a 2 course or 3 course option as well as a 5 course tasting menu. Spent an excellent few days at the Castle Cottage, the food outshines anything else in N Wales and we’ve tried many good restaurants. We’ll keep making the journey to sample such great food. Steve & Lindsay
Had read amazing reviews but it was really only pub standard food and overpriced for that. The ‘hostess’ was quite abrupt. It wasn’t terrible but not up to expectation.
The food is of a very high standard and beautifully cooked and presented. The service was excellent and I had the best lobster thermidor that I’ve ever eaten.
