The George's (Est 1989) is a Local Independent Restaurant and Shop serving freshly prepared food with locally sourced ingredients. The ambience is unique and relaxed and we serve food all day. There is a delightful walled garden to the rear with plenty of sheltered seating and stunning views over the Town, Castle and surrounding countryside. On a Saturday we serve Dinner until 9.30pm with a wide selection of both British and International dishes as well as a large selection of Vegetarian meals. Our intimate seating booths are extremely popular for tables up to six and larger gatherings catered for in our light and airy upstairs restaurant.
