Visited there on a very warm and sunny day with friend’s family. We sat outside enjoying the rare sun in Wales while sipping on fabulous cocktails. We moved inside and sat on our table for the main dishes and desserts. Everything was well presented and they tasted fresh and delicious. We ordered the pork belly, chicken and lamb, all was beautifully cooked. We all enjoyed our dinner and cocktails very much!

Manager showed a total lack of sympathy for my ill father. My father has cancer and due to being on chemo the last year has not been fit to use his voucher for food at your restaurant. He has just been told the cancer has returned and started chemo for another 6 months. I spoke to the manager and….I assumed in this instance you could make an allowance and extend the vouchers so if he gets better can use them in the future. Your point blank refusal to do this, fobbing me off with excuses about banking and the money being accounted for last year was insulting and a joke. As a restaurant you must write off hundreds of pounds per week in food so the excuse that it wouldn’t reconcile with your accounts was laughable and testament to you speaking to me like I was stupid. Then you implied that I was lying by saying people come in with excuses to change vouchers. I wish I was lying about my fathers situation but I am not and the your lack of empathy and any desire to provide a solution was mind blowing for someone who is meant to be running a service business. You have had the money for the vouchers up front so now simply..you don’t care. This will be going on all review and social media sites so customers know what to expect. Thanks

Had a good meal, we were a party of 20 and went for the set menu. The Hake was cooked to perfection. The design has been well implemented with the old pump house character kept. Will certainly return for a taste of the a la carte menu.

Wife and I have been a few times and have always left full and impressed. Favourite starters are the salmon with beetroot and the walnut with perl las, mains of sea bass and roast chicken and the sublime rum ba ba for desert. Excellent service and ambiance. A solid favourite!
