Shower leaked, black windows and slithers of glass on the carpet by the window. Loud springs on the bed. The only good thing was it was in a good location. The views would have been good if we could have seen through the windows.
A very strange experience here, we were considering dinner, but they stopped serving at 5pm ?? The atmosphere inside is dated and tatty, the bar staff were not particularly friendly. On the plus side, a good selection of beers.
We had an excellent meal here on Saturday night. We were a large party and all the food arrived together and was excellent. Great value too.Only downside was when a local got served ahead of tourists at the bar – bit disappointing.
Called in for a drink whisky around there. Nice enough, was a football game in in the pub, we sat in the quieter restaurant bit to relax and unwind.
We enjoyed drinks on Bank Holiday Saturday at The Bridge End.The place was packed, however the service was fast, and we managed to get a nice outside table, and watched the world go by.
