Missed our usual chippy by 10 minutes, they close at 8 and these were recommended by them, only downside was price £18.10 for two of us, fish and chips twice 1 carton of peas and 2 cans usually pay £13.00!
Tried a few of the chip shops in Monmouth and Aslans is the only one that’s any good, always amazing service and lovely fish, couldn’t recommend highly enough!
We had a lovely meal in the adjoined cafe. The fish is cooked to order and the chips were very good. Very friendly service.

We found this little gem while visiting Monmouth. Very good everything highly reccomend ,my husbands fish was excellent and my veggie burger was as well
