What fabulous standards the students at Coleg y Cymoedd achieve.The three course lunch was served with professionalism beyond many a posh nosh eatery. The setting is a modern and bright dining area accessible off the street but part of the college. The menu was designed and delivered by the students.My food was pretty as a picture and well cooked. My dessert of deconstructed lemon meringue pie was zingy and refreshing with interesting textures. The main course of sea bass was just superb – as good as the fish cooked at Rick Stein’s which I visited 2 weeks ago! My starter was an interesting concept of crispy duck salad but if I am honest the duck was a little dry and I am not sure a raspberry belongs in a salad. However, all in all an excellent meal and fantastic value.
