Fish & chips. Cant believe the post that states best fish & chips ever , obviously the person has never been to whitby , the fish and chips I sampled at the ship was rubbish , I do agree big portion but more taste in a Arabs flip flop
Dreadful place for food. overpriced, tiny portions, limited choice, indifferent customer service. mis match between the pretentious menu and the over ambitious dishes whicg are clearly beyond the skills of the cooking staff. if you are planning an expensive and special night out, don’t waste your money or time here.
Great little place in Red Wharf. Okay, technically it is in Angelsey, not Conwy, but it is a great pub with lovely atmosphere and the best fish n chips you will ever find. Great crunchy, crispy batter with perfect moist white fish inside. Actually, the fish was so good I barely touched the chips, but they were nicely made as well. The set up is that you order from the bar and they give you a numbered wine bottle to place on your table so the server knows where to bring the food. I enjoyed this place immensely. Had a lovely conversation with some visiting Scots at the next table.
