On visiting Wales, we decided to go in ‘New Lahore’. It was Sunday night. There was another family eating there when we reached at 9.20 pm. Friendly staff and good service. We started with spicy poppadoms and aloo chat. It was good. Aloo chat is a little different form what I have eaten. Here it’s like they have given the aloo curry. For main course, we had Bengal chicken jhaal curry, dal makkhani with plain rice and stuffed kulcha. We enjoyed the food. We also had a lemonade and pint of beer.We paid about 25 for this. Overall recommended if craving for Indian food near the Newport city centre.
