The Best Stuffies. The pork stuffed baked potato is made to crave! The pork is tasty, but not over salty. The potato is HUGE. Load it up and vow to work out an extra day that week. It is well worth it.
Flavorfull and authentic. Stopping at hotel on my way back to IN, the hotel clerk recommnnded LawLer’s. The service was so friendly and served quickly. The food was terrific. I had the pulled pork and the turkey. The turkey was good but was better wth the vinegar BBQ sauce, but the pork was great sans any sauce, I also had the BBQ beans which were very flavorful and had no hint of ordinary like heated from a can. The green beans were deicious too. They were cooked through but not mushy at all, and seasoned well with pepper, which I liked. Hubby had potatoe salad, which I helped finish and we both loved it. Nice atmosphere. Definitely would stop here if passing through area again, like coming and going to FL. For sure it would be a frequent stop if I lived in the area. The line at the drive-up window was five or six deep all night, so it must be a local fav for sure.
Southern charm and BBQ at its best! Everytime my family and I come to this LawLers location we receive the tastiest bbq and the service is the definition of southern hospitality. Yall need to try this one!
I could eat here every day.. True to the south, everyone at Lawlers is kind and respectful. The place was clean, the decor interesting (I’ve fished before and know true fisherman who would love everything in here), but the food, oh, the food. Unbelievably good, and I really was not sure if I would like it. I didn’t like it; I loved it. I had the pulled-pork sandwich with sides of green beans and pasta salad and enjoyed every single little bite of each. I wish I hadn’t waited so long in my trip to check it out so I could have gone back a few more times! It’s definitely worth the trip!
Chicken is amazing if cooked same day .. Baked potato stuffed always great ..As are green beans n stew… Ribs are good. Not my all time favorite bbq but eat here more than anywhere in Athens.
Tasty Fast Food. Very good for a fast food, inexpensive type restaurant – We often stop here when traveling. Always satisfied
