I didn’t know what to expect. We were driving through and saw barbecue and decided to try it. Price was good. Expected a hot sandwich. It was cold and had more coleslaw then meat. Bbq flavor was almost non existent. Salad was ok but again the bbq flavor was not there. Sorry but we were disappointed.
This place is terrible. I was passing through and saw a billboard so I stopped in. This little joint would be like. A Dickies chain in MS. The ribs were mush, the sauces were like watery and the coleslaw was nasty. I would go to McDonalds before I would ever eat here again. Nice decor and friendly staff, that’s how I got to a 2.5.

Excellent service, not so much their food. There’s no doubt that this place has a wonderful staff and excellent customer service. It is not pricey and you can tell that people around there know each other pretty well, also it is really clean and the tea is real southern sweet tea.. just the perfect balance of tea and sweetness.At least for me, regarding their food overall is not good, the meat has no seasoning (mhh ok fine) plain bland, I am okay you can add salt and pepper to taste, but the sides they are greasy (greasy=flavor… sometimes) I don’t mind greasy but I do is they taste like dust and just that… grease. I have tried the fried okra and mash potatoes.. and they just taste like the meat bland no matter what I grab they all taste the same… like nothing. You have to add tons of salt, pepper, sauce or whatever you like the most in order to make it kinda work. Last time it reminded me more like hospice food than food that I would expect from LawLers. I’d guess that if your doctor prohibited salt and so on then this is the place to go.
Bbq turkey sandwich is delicious. the food is priced very reasonably and it taste awesome. i can dig it.
Better than fast food. Stopping here was better than fast food or a chain. But not much. Margarine spread instead of butter. I ordered BBQ chicken which came as a plain baked piece of chicken (not even grilled or smoked) and I had luckily grabbed a small tub of sauce to dip it in. The slaw was too bitter for me to eat, and when I asked for a different side, was told they had another kind of mayonnaise slaw that was quite tasty. Wish I had known that before, as I almost didn’t ask about a replacement. The bread was excellent. The sauce was excellent. The iced tea some of the best ever. But the chicken was overcooked and bland and the slaw mixup was confusing. I would not go out of my way to eat here again, but I would choose it over fast food any day.
