The pizza is good. There is a lot of cheese, so it is a bit greasy. The service was very prompt. Parking is good- right outside the door. It is kind of dark inside. There are booths and tables.
We have been eating at the Village Pizza in East Limestone since we were little and we were so pleased when a second restaurant opened in the downtown Athens area. The pizza crust is the perfect consistency and the sauce is a classic. The taste hasn’t changed since I was a little girl. The breadsticks are buttery topped with garlic and Parmesan. Make sure you get the garlic and the marinara dipping sauces. The wings are also surprisingly delicious, try the fire and ice wings. I recommend the cheese pizza with mushrooms and pepperoni, my sister likes the Hawaiian!

Great pizza!!! Salads and sandwiches aren’t the best. But that’s ok.. Get the pizza.
