This place has it all. Beautiful and inviting. The food, while a bit pricey, is top notch. Definitely recommend any fish preparation: it’s phenomenal. The staff is friendly and the food is worth the price. Make sure you get there early though, because it packs out pretty quick, and for good reason.

Let me start by saying the food was good. I have had better and worse. My wife and I did enjoy the the restaurant and staff was very friendly and helpful. I had the beef tenderloin and it was cooked well, but the oven roasted potatoes that accompanied the dish were over cooked and heavily salted. My wife had the duck and risotto. She said it was very tasty. All in all, a good experience.

Ok now I have two favorite places to go to in Auburn. This was so good all the food was fresh the street corn was the best I have ever had. The Blueberry white chocolate bread pudding with whisky sauce and home made ice cream was amazing. What about dinner it was outstanding. Even the ice tea was good. Can not forget about the service this young man did a remarkably good job.

What a wonderful restaurant. Super fresh ingredients, we had the pimento cheese appetizer and the shrimp and grits! Southern food at its best. Great wine and drink list.

Newer restaurant in the area. Food is great. The atmosphere is perfect! They don’t seem to have a ton of pescatarian/vegetarian options though. But definitely enough to eat there occasionally. We ate there for Valentine’s Day dinner. They had great specials, and even gave each lady a rose.

Mostly Good. I have been to Acre once for lunch and once for dinner. Beautiful building and setting. Our lunch was tasty and well prepared and the service was excellent. When we went for dinner our experience was a bit more mixed. Once again the service was good. Would not recommend the biscuits and prosciutto appetizer as the cheese biscuit was dry and there was not enough molasses to taste. The salted beet salad was good as was the red snapper entree. Our duck was undercooked and somewhat bland. I will try this restaurant again but will research the menu better so as to pick the best reviewed dishes.

Acre has surpassed Amsterdam as my favorite restaurant in Auburn. A creative and rotating menu which is a singular experience in the area. Go for lunch when food is much more affordable
