From the time we walked in the door it was a great experience. Austin was our server and he was beyond on point for everything. He was very knowledgeable and super patient with us. His service was beyond exceptional…we will definitely be back and readily recommend to anyone passing thur the area!
Pleased.. I really enjoy this place everytime I come. The last time I was there I had the most amazing waiter and when they were out of what I wanted a time before she made sure I got the for free the next time. The food is great and the service is just as amazing!
Its not about the cheese biscuits. The cheese biscuits are free stop complaining.
Still Apprehensive…… I have been to this location a few times with mixed results.The first time I went was mediocre with horrible, horrible service.The second time I went was absolutely awful. I sat at the bar and ordered a drink. As I was sitting there I expected the famous rolls…well, I was told that they didn’t have any ready and it would be at least 20 minutes before I could get any. Then the couple next to me gets their rolls 10 minutes after they told me it would be 20 minutes, and they were seated after me! When they finally brought out the rolls, I saw they brought me……one roll. One roll!? At least put two on the basket. I asked for more and they never brought them.When I was brought my food (I did the pick 2 meats plate, beef brisket with chipped pork), the quality was absolutely TERRIBLE. What was supposed to be sliced beef brisket was actually the debris from the end of the brisket, which was not even a decent portion, and was more fat than anything else. The pulled/chipped pork was so burnt I could hardly eat it, and had such an overwhelming smoke flavor that it tasted as though it had been right underneath the hickory logs and had pieces of burnt logs/ash dropping into it as it cooked. I almost sent it back because if I’m paying $15 for a plate of meat, I better get a plate of quality meat. Not that the server ever came by to check on me, so I couldn’t have even had it sent back if I wanted to.Not only that, I finished my drink (Coke) and then sat at the bar eating for 10 minutes with the bartender standing 10 feet away and not offering to refill my drink. Finally I pushed my plate away and refused to eat until they offered to refill my drink, and even then it was over 5 minutes before the bartender offered to refill it. I can understand if a place is super busy, but when the bartender is just standing there with his arms crossed over his chest for minutes at a time, there’s no excuse for that lack of service!The most recent time I went was a better experience, but I only went because I received a coupon for a free meal. I’m still very apprehensive about coming here again. Most Jim n’ Nicks locations are good…this one has been the worst I’ve ever been to.

Great food! Friendly service and great atmosphere. It is a new restaurant in town, but they seem to be better everytime I eat there. I grew up loving the food and now that we have one in Auburn..I can’t get enough!!
I’ve been to Jim n Nicks several times and love it! I’m not one that enjoys southern bbq but there are many other options to choose. The fried green tomatoes are awesome and so is the grilled chicken.
