Decently good pepperoni pizza. The crust was almost the way I like it. The sauce was okay. And the cheese and toppings were regular portions. Rather go to Brick Oven or Mellow Mushroom.
Johnny Brusco’s (on East University) is fabulous for families!. Okay, so the pizza is amazing. Definitely the best pizza in town. Even the calzones are exceptional. But most importantly, I really love the atmosphere. You can sit up at the bar and make some friends or just relax in the dining room where it’s a little more quiet. I also like the fact that there are only TVs in the bar area- so my family has to pay attention to one another in the dining room. You can really tell they cater to families here, and I am grateful!
The food is descent, but service not great. They won’t let you substitute any toppings on any specialty pizza. They tell you you can build your own pizza, but it costs so much more to do so. They’ll charge you extra for everything like marinara sauce.
Mmm… Well the service was okay-ish not the waiters fault b/c owners make them do so much so they have such little time but the pizza was horrible. Theyre too cheap, i watched them put only 1 scoop of sause on the pizza and half a handfull of cheese. Food always come out too done and its too expensive for it not to be done right. It would be a discrase to call it new york style pizza except for the managers b/c the act like yankee a**holes!
Never a bad experience. Never had a bad meal at Johnny Brusco’s, Stomboli’s are great as are the sandwiches. One of our after church places on Sunday.
Best Pizza in Alabama!. They have the best pizza in the state of Alabama. Everytime I am in Auburn I have to eat at Johnny Brusco’s. My husband and I eat there often! THE BEST!
Owner is an awful guy. Food was so so , service was good. Unfortunately after personally dealing with one of the owners I will never spend another dollar with this company. I’ve not dealt with a ruder business person in my life. Mellow , In Italy, Even Amsterdam all serve great pizza and you will not be encouraging these types of self entitled jerks.
