Coffee to write home about. I’ve been getting mama mochas for years. In fact, my husband and I gave it away as favors at our wedding. We’ve since moved to Hawaii but whenever we come back to auburn we stock up on the best coffee in the Union!

Best coffee in town. They take their coffee seriously here. Although it looks like a old book store just pass the books and head for the rear.That’s where the best coffee in town is. Their espresso is exceptional. They pull then short (ristretto) and it tastes much smoother and rich. It is not like your usual espresso you got elsewhere. It is the right way to do it. I lived in Italy for 2 years and this is what you called espresso there!
They know their coffee! Highly recommend it.
Best Coffee Shop in East Alabama. As an avid coffee connoisseur, I was delighted when I found The Gnu’s Room. The coffee is outstanding–perhaps the best I’ve ever had–and to top it off it’s all roasted in their back room by Mama Mocha. All of the milk is organic and they have the cheapest prices in town! Additionally they have a fantastic used book selection! Amazing. I cannot recommend this establishment enough.
